{"id":663578,"date":"2025-12-31T00:33:11","date_gmt":"2025-12-31T00:33:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/663578\/"},"modified":"2025-12-31T00:33:11","modified_gmt":"2025-12-31T00:33:11","slug":"spectacular-move-for-mac-allister-upgrade-explodes-into-life-as-sublime-swap-deal-accelerates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/663578\/","title":{"rendered":"Spectacular move for Mac Allister UPGRADE explodes into life as sublime swap deal accelerates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Liverpool have reportedly launched a spectacular move to sign a Real Madrid star described as an \u2018upgrade\u2019 on Alexis Mac Allister, while the Reds could also be closing in on a stunning player-plus-cash deal for an elite Serie A forward.<\/p>\n<p>Arne Slot\u2019s men have had issues throughout their Premier League title-winning side this season, as they currently sit way off the pace set by the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City and Aston Villa.<\/p>\n<p>And, despite spending record sums on multiple signings over the summer, Richard Hughes and co. are in the market for signings who make a difference to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamtalk.com\/liverpool\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Liverpool<\/a>\u2018s first team going forward.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Liverpool bid for versatile Real Madrid star<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With the January window officially opening on Thursday, a rather fanciful report from Spain claims that Liverpool have launched another move to sign long-term target\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamtalk.com\/eduardo-camavinga\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Eduardo Camavinga<\/a> from Real Madrid.<\/p>\n<p>The Reds have been tracking the 23-year-old midfielder for a number of years, and Spanish outlet <a rel=\"noopener nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fichajes.net\/noticias\/oferta-70-millones-camavinga-20251227.html\" target=\"_blank\">Fichajes<\/a>, who are not always the most reliable, now claims that a \u00a360million (\u20ac69m \/ $81m) offer has been submitted for the Frenchman.<\/p>\n<p>Camavinga\u2019s qualities as a box-to-box midfielder are clear to the eye, but his ability to also cover the left-back spot makes him an even more attractive option.<\/p>\n<p>Milos Kerkez has had his struggles in his first campaign on Merseyside, while Andy Robertson is in the twilight of his career, but it\u2019s in midfield where Camavinga is more of an asset.<\/p>\n<p>His ability to play multiple roles centrally, either in the No.6 position or as a No.8, would be hugely beneficial to Liverpool, especially on the defensive side when it comes to providing more protection to what\u2019s been an incredibly nervy Reds backline so far this season.<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, GiveMeSport suggests that Camavinga would be an \u2018upgrade\u2019 over Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch in that deeper-lying role.<\/p>\n<p>However, there\u2019s a big problem with Liverpool\u2019s offer, as it\u2019s almost certainly nowhere near enough for Real president Florentino Perez to agree to an exit for a player who is still under contract until 2029.<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, unless the Reds\u00a0significantly raise that reported bid, then Real\u2019s stance over Camavina will not budge.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Want more breaking transfer lines from original sources?
