{"id":663748,"date":"2025-12-31T02:21:12","date_gmt":"2025-12-31T02:21:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/663748\/"},"modified":"2025-12-31T02:21:12","modified_gmt":"2025-12-31T02:21:12","slug":"zelenskyy-discusses-u-s-troop-presence-in-ukraine-with-trump","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/663748\/","title":{"rendered":"Zelenskyy discusses U.S. troop presence in Ukraine with Trump"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>                                    Kyiv \u2013 <\/p>\n<p>Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Tuesday that Kyiv was discussing with Washington a possible presence of U.S. troops in Ukraine as part of security guarantees, and also raised what he called a faked attack on Russian President Vladimir Putin&#8217;s residence.<\/p>\n<p>Zelenskyy told the media in a WhatsApp chat that Kyiv was committed to continuing talks on how to end the war triggered by Russia&#8217;s 2022 full-scale invasion and he was ready to \u200bmeet Putin in any format.<\/p>\n<p>U.S. President Donald Trump said on Sunday he and Zelenskyy were &#8220;maybe very close&#8221; to an agreement to end the war although &#8220;thorny&#8221; territorial issues \u200dlingered.
