The major <a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/finance\/personalfinance\/2145133\/every-uk-bank-branch-closing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">high street banks<\/a>, both part of Lloyds Banking Group, are reducing the number of branches across their network as a result of a shift in consumer habits, which is leading to an increase in digital banking services being used.<\/p>\n<p>While many branches will <a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/news\/uk\/2149018\/huge-high-street-name-close\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cease operations <\/a>\u00a0within the next year, the banking group is committed to providing additional support for those affected by the previous and future closures.<\/p>\n<p>A Lloyds Banking Group spokesperson said: &#8220;The way people are banking has changed, with over 21 million customers choosing apps to manage their money. We&#8217;re providing more choice than ever before, bringing together the best in digital convenience with our people.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Alongside our app, our customers can use any\u00a0Lloyds,\u00a0Halifax\u00a0or Bank of Scotland branch, the Post Office or banking hubs for their everyday banking, and deposit cash at over 30,000 PayPoint locations.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Full closure reviews of each bank branch can be found on the Lloyds Bank website and the Halifax website.
