CHRIS EUBANK JR has given fans another look at his horror eye injury as he recovers from a ghastly gash sustained during his win over Conor Benn on Saturday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Eubank Jr was rushed to hospital following his family feud victory over Benn<\/a> at the Tottenham Hotspur<\/a> Stadium at the weekend.<\/p>\n

Eubank Jr was left with a nasty gash above his eye from his fight with Conor BennCredit: Reuters<\/p>\n

The 35-year-old was ordered to head straight to hospital by his doctor<\/a> after winning the bout and had to miss out on his post-fight press conference.<\/p>\n

The Brighton bruiser then spent two nights in the Royal London ward, before finally being released on Monday morning<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Now he is back fighting fit and showed off his war wounds in a post on social media after visiting the set of Netflix<\/a> show ‘The Gentleman’. <\/p>\n

Eubank Jr showed a close up picture of his bloodshot eye and the stitches required to close the gash above his eye on X.<\/p>\n

Alongside pictures of him with actor Theo James and football<\/a> icon-turned on-screen talent Vinnie Jones<\/a>, Eubank joked: “On set of \u2018The Gentleman\u2019 today.<\/p>\n

“Maybe I should just become an actor\u2026 not getting punched in the face to earn a living sounds so nice!!”<\/p>\n

Rumours had started to swirl that the middleweight fighter had suffered a broken jaw<\/a> during the Benn fight, speculation he was quick to rubbish when he appeared on Sky Sports this morning<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He said: “When you get into a fight for 12 rounds there are injuries that are sustained.<\/p>\n

“I got headbutted above my eye, right in the middle of the fight it opened up and I had to go and have surgery on that, I had to sew it up.<\/p>\n

“Conor Benn<\/a> and Eddie Hearn<\/a> ran away with the story that a broken jaw – there was no broken jaw here.<\/p>\n

“We are strong, our bones are dense, I’m feeling good. I’m feeling grateful that the fight was so well received. I’m in a great place.”<\/p>\n

His comments came after he posted a message on Instagram<\/a> addressing his wounds.<\/p>\n

He wrote: “As a fighter we sign up to walk through the fire. <\/p>\n

“Once you make it through, the burns and scars are what you have to show the world for the rest of your life. Present them with pride.”<\/p>\n

His father, Chris Eubank<\/a> Sr, had claimed that Junior ALMOST DIED<\/strong> and was “touch and go” while in hospital.<\/a><\/p>\n

The 58-year-old boxing<\/a> icon, who stunned the world when he arrived at the Spurs stadium to flank alongside his boy<\/a>, revealed there were desperately worrying times when he didn\u2019t know if his son would survive.<\/p>\n

Speaking on his\u00a0Call Chris<\/a>\u00a0YouTube show, he said: \u201cJunior was lying down on a stretcher and he was sensitive to light, so he always had a towel and something over his eyes.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe had a shroud around him, around his eyes and head, and just his beard poking out.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd in that moment he looked exactly like [his late brother] Sebastian, the spitting image. It\u2019s real for us\u201d<\/p>\n

Adding: “My son was in a touch-and-go situation, life or death.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe doesn’t respect that because he is a warrior and a warrior goes out on his shield, which he proved.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe’s not going to listen to the rules. If he can evade and sidestep the rules, he will, because he is a warrior.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt would be an extraordinary blessing for him, if he was wise enough to walk off into the sunset, there is nothing cooler than that, you cannot buy that.”<\/p>\n
