\n\tLike all of us today, Prince William<\/a> and Kate Middleton<\/a> are reflecting on 2025. For the royals<\/a>, it was a big year with public engagements, events, and other responsibilities of yearly life. They just posted a picture recap of the year, casually slipping in an unseen photo of their eldest son Prince George<\/a>, 12. And he looks so grown up!<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cSome unseen favourites from 2025 \ud83d\udcf8\u2728\u201d the Waleses wrote on their joint Instagram<\/a>. They included one photo from each month, including a snap of the Prince and Princess of Wales at Holocaust Memorial Day in January, visiting the Isles of Mull and Iona in April, and approaching Marine One when President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump came to visit.<\/p>\n

\n\tPrince George is featured in Slide 5 with his dad. The prince looks grown up in his navy-blue suit and tie, as he leans in at a table to talk to a military veteran in May. \u201cPrince William and Prince George speak with veterans at the 80th anniversary of VE Day,\u201d the caption read. George looks so intently focused on what the man is saying, and it\u2019s clear he\u2019s interested in the military right now.<\/p>\n

\n\tOne person commented, \u201cLove, love these pictures. Number 5 stole my heart \ud83d\ude4f\ud83d\udc8b\u201d Another said, \u201cLove the way Prince George leans in to hear the veteran.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tPrince George and his siblings Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7, joined their parents for the VE Day event in May. After Prince George chatted with veterans, a D-Day veteran named Alfred Littlefield told Prince William, \u201cYou should be very proud\u201d of the way Prince George respectfully listened and asked questions.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cGeorge was the star of the room,\u201d an insider told Hello!<\/a> at the time. \u201cHe was engrossed in conversation with many of the veterans, who were delighted to speak to him as well. He was enjoying it, hearing about guns and submarines and tanks.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn November, Middleton shared that Prince George<\/a> \u201cknows much more about aircraft than me\u201d during an appearance at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire on Armistice Day in November. Middleton told WWII veteran Geoffrey Spencer, \u201cGeorge very much likes Airfix models and the Lancaster Bomber.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tMaybe he\u2019ll continue in the royal family tradition and join the armed forces after he finishes school. He certainly seems interested in that path!<\/p>\n
