That\u2019s because <strong>the popular <a href=\"https:\/\/secretldn.com\/things-to-do-primrose-hill\/\" rel=\"follow noopener\" target=\"_self\" class=\"shortcode-outbound-link\" data-has-ga=\"true\" data-ga-type=\"click\" data-label=\"https:\/\/secretldn.com\/things-to-do-primrose-hill\/\" data-action=\"text_cta_1\" data-category=\"click_internal\">Primrose Hill<\/a> park, which boasts panoramic views of the city, is closed to visitors all throughout today and through the evening<\/strong>. This means that those hoping to view the fireworks from the raised park will have to seek out another inclined park to perch in or watch the display on the TV.<\/p>\n<p> Primrose Hill closed <\/p>\n<p><strong>Gates were shut to visitors yesterday at 8pm, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/secretldn.com\/london-parks-gardens-list\/\" rel=\"follow noopener\" target=\"_self\" class=\"shortcode-outbound-link\" data-has-ga=\"true\" data-ga-type=\"click\" data-label=\"https:\/\/secretldn.com\/london-parks-gardens-list\/\" data-action=\"text_cta_2\" data-category=\"click_internal\">park<\/a> will remain closed until 6am on New Year\u2019s Day.<\/strong> Some areas of the park have been cordoned off with temporary fencing. Other parts, such as access points, have had dark green hoarding erected to deter anyone trying to get in.<\/p>\n<p>This comes after <strong>an estimated 30,000 visitors flocked to Primrose Hill last year on New Year\u2019s Eve<\/strong> to watch the fireworks light up the sky.<\/p>\n<p>Commander Nick John of the Metropolitan Police <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/articles\/crrkreqvzy2o\" rel=\"follow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"shortcode-outbound-link\" data-has-ga=\"true\" data-ga-type=\"click\" data-label=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/articles\/crrkreqvzy2o\" data-action=\"text_cta_3\" data-tracked=\"1\" data-category=\"click_sales\" data-cp_smn_source=\"secretldn\" data-cp_smn_content=\"primrose-hill-closed-fireworks-watching-new-years-eve-2025\" data-cp_smn_term=\"text_cta_3\">said<\/a>: \u201cThe Royal Parks are urging people not to try to gather at Primrose Hill this year and we would echo those calls.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">\u201cPlease make alternative plans. Some stations will close temporarily, or will be exit-only for brief moments, to deal with overcrowding and high numbers of travellers.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/secretldn.com\/travelling-london-new-years\/\" rel=\"follow noopener\" target=\"_self\" class=\"shortcode-outbound-link\" data-has-ga=\"true\" data-ga-type=\"click\" data-label=\"https:\/\/secretldn.com\/travelling-london-new-years\/\" data-action=\"text_cta_4\" data-category=\"click_internal\">Find out more about travelling on New Year\u2019s Eve in London here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s important to note that<strong> there will be no free travel in London for New Year\u2019s Eve<\/strong>.
