We\u2019ve seen multiple reports about Switch 2 throughout the year that have placed it as a record-setting system launch, which is exciting news for Nintendo fans and exactly what Nintendo wants to hear. Now we\u2019re closing out 2025 with yet another sales figure that shows just how strong the hardware has been.<\/p>\n
Over in Spain, the Switch 2 has just managed to surpass 312k units sold since launch. That figure is enough for the Switch 2 to beat out the original Switch\u2019s record of 300k units sold, which it achieved in 52 weeks. In other words, the Switch 2 reached the same milestone the Switch did in its launch year, but three months quicker.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s great to see the Switch 2 continuing to break records and find its way into millions of homes the world over.
