Corrie star Helen Flanagan<\/a> has revealed to fans on social media that she was involved in a car crash on Tuesday. Opening up about how she is feeling as 2025 draws to a close, the model reassured fans that the incident “could’ve been a lot worse”.<\/p>\n

Sharing that she has been feeling “deflated” and “rubbish”, the 35-year-old admitted that she cannot drive her car anymore as the bumper is “hanging off”. Taking to her Instagram<\/a> stories, Helen shared that the incident was her own fault but it has put a stop to her future plans.<\/p>\n

Dressed in her pyjamas and holding a coffee<\/a> cup, Helen revealed: “I crashed my car yesterday. It was fine, it could have been a lot worse. It’s just a hassle, because I planned to go to Scotland. I crashed into another car and it was totally my fault. I can’t drive my car, the bumper is hanging off.”<\/p>\n

This confession followed on from previous stories where the mum-of-three opened up about her worries as a single parent and feeling “mum guilt”. Helen also mentioned the current dynamics of her family, reports the Mirror.<\/a><\/p>\n

She admitted that while her two youngest kids were too young when she split from her ex-fiance Scott Sinclair<\/a> in 2022, her eldest daughter can be “moody” when it comes to moving between the two homes. Helen said: “What I find, probably, like the most difficult is probably with Matilda, because it’s just like, I feel like she’s the eldest.<\/p>\n

“So me and her dad broke up when she was seven, and I feel like Delilah is just so oblivious she doesn’t care. Charlie doesn’t care he was one. But Matilda is sensitive, and she takes everything very much in. And every single time that I get her back, she’s in a mood with me. She’s really moody. She’s really sassy.”<\/p>\n

Helen went on to say: “I expect it because I know it’s what it’s like, and I think it’s almost like she feels like I’m kind of disowning her in a way, when I’ve not got her, and it’s not. Regardless of mine and her dad’s relationship, I always want her to have a relationship with the Father, because I think that’s good for her.<\/p>\n

“And regardless that everything goes on, I always tell her that her dad loves her and that she must love her daddy, you know, like, and they, you know, it’s totally separate.”<\/p>\n

Helen also told her Instagram followers that she is planning on buying her daughter a phone<\/a> so that they can still talk to each other when she is staying at her dad’s house.<\/p>\n

She explained: “I said to her, I was like, ‘Did you want mummy to FaceTime you?’ And she was like, ‘Yeah, I did.’ So we’re getting her a phone anyway. She wants to go choose it, and so we’re gonna go do that.”<\/p>\n

Looking towards the future, Helen also mentioned that she is looking forward to taking part in an upcoming play soon. However, she did admit to struggling to learn her lines due to her “head being so busy”.<\/p>\n

She also added that her ADHD<\/a> is making it “hard to concentrate” but that she is certain she will be able to get it all prepped in time for the show.<\/p>\n

Helen went on to add that she had taken medication for her ADHD when she was younger, but has chosen to not take any medication anymore.<\/p>\n

She noted that her most recent attempt of taking a prescription for the condition was two years ago, but this led to her feeling “poorly” and not being able to work for three months.<\/p>\n

While she is clear that everyone has different experiences, Helen added that medications “really, really scare” her.
