Leeds United manager Daniel Farke has taken aim at the Premier League regarding an unfair fixture schedule ahead of his side taking on Liverpool at Anfield.<\/p>\n
Less than three days after today’s game, Leeds will host Manchester United<\/a> at Old Trafford. And with Ruben Amorim’s<\/a> men getting two extra days of preparation time for the clash, Farke is unhappy with the situation.<\/p>\n “In the Championship, it was more or less each and every week,” Farke said, via the Yorkshire Evening Post<\/a>. “It’s exhausting. Man U has more or less two more days to rest. They have a home game before, a relatively short travel and we have such a quick turnaround.<\/p>\n “I’m not too worried about the turnaround right now for the Liverpool game, but the next game day is crazy. It’s really, really tricky in these terms.<\/p>\n “I can guarantee we have not applied for this early kick-off (on Sunday) and we have also not applied for this late kick-off at Liverpool<\/a>, but we have to adapt to it. It’s tricky.”<\/p>\n This season, Liverpool has struggled with defending from set-pieces<\/a> \u2014 and this week, the coach responsible, Aaron Briggs, left the club<\/a>.
