They delved into the data and crunched the numbers like a packet of aeroplane pretzels to reveal (among other things) which cross-border air routes were <strong>the busiest in the whole world in 2025<\/strong>. And a flight that lands right here in <a href=\"https:\/\/secretldn.com\/best-things-to-do-london\/\" rel=\"follow noopener\" target=\"_self\" class=\"shortcode-outbound-link\" data-has-ga=\"true\" data-ga-type=\"click\" data-label=\"https:\/\/secretldn.com\/best-things-to-do-london\/\" data-action=\"text_cta_0\" data-category=\"click_internal\">London<\/a> was named among the top ten busiest of all.<\/p>\n<p>The jam-packed journey in question soars across the Atlantic, transporting passengers from the Big Apple to the Big Smoke. A whopping <strong>3,971,000 passengers<\/strong> plonked themselves down on one of the aircrafts that serve the route that runs between <strong>New York JFK and London Heathrow<\/strong> throughout the year. Five different airlines serve the flight route \u2013 and according to OAG, it\u2019s <strong>the most expensive journey in the top ten<\/strong>, with a one-way economy ticket costing on average $585.
