Case in point: the food writer recently appeared on Samuel Goldsmith&#8217;s &#8220;Good Food&#8221; podcast and joked that some kind of &#8220;revolution&#8221; would take place if he became a prince.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_4-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\"> &#8220;I think we&#8217;re fairly balanced and sober and sensible country on the whole, but if I suddenly became prince, I think Buckingham Palace gates would be stormed,&#8221; Parker Bowles <a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/episode\/6huej8tuMuErwrcbU5IHKJ\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"externalLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">said<\/a>. &#8220;It would be appalling.
