The Jim Walsh Trophy will be awarded in one of those races.

Oulton Park hosts round two (May 23), then the paddock heads to Mallory Park on June 6 for round three. That circuit hosted the British FFord championship 11 times, most recently in 1992 when a 19-year-old Jan Magnussen won.

Undulating former World Rallycross Championship venue Lydden Hill keeps its slot on the calendar for a third successive year (June 27), and a month later is round five at Snetterton (July 25).

The Champion of Brands schedule begins with United FFord’s visit there on August 22, with the Peter Rogers Trophy being awarded in one of the races on the Indy layout. The CoB schedule also includes visits on September 13 (including the Bert Ray Memorial Trophy) and November 14 (featuring the Martin Down Trophy race).

United FFord’s season continues at Kirkistown, home of the Northern Irish FF1600 championship, on September 26 and the locally-organised event will include the Martin Donnelly Trophy race which often attracts racers from Britain. It is also a rarely visited circuit due to requiring an overseas trip, and there have only been 15 races there over seven events across the history of Britain’s premier national championships (British FFord, BRSCC National FF1600 and now United FFord).

Silverstone bookends the 2026 season on October 10, with the National layout once again being used.

British FFord’s Mallory Park winners

1976: David Kennedy – Crossle 30F
1977: Trevor van Rooyen – Royale RP24
1978: Kenny Acheson – Royale RP24
1979: David Sears – Royale RP26
1980: Roberto Moreno – Van Diemen RF80
1981: Ayrton Senna – Van Diemen RF81
1982: Julian Bailey – Lola T640E
1987: Andy Stapley (Ray) – Ray 87F
1988: Richard Dean (Swift) – Swift FB88
1991: Marc Goossens (Van Diemen) – Van Diemen RF91
1992: Jan Magnussen (Foundation Racing) – Van Diemen RF92

Kirkistown winners

British FFord
1988: Pedro Chaves (Van Diemen) – Van Diemen RF88
1989: Niko Palhares (Van Diemen) – Van Diemen RF89
1990: Michael Vergers (Van Diemen) – Van Diemen RF90
BRSCC National FF1600
2017: R1 James Roe Jr (Team Dolan) – Firman RFR16 R2 Jamie Thorburn (Cliff Dempsey Racing) – Ray GR15 R3 Neil Maclennan (Cliff Dempsey Racing) – Ray GR14
2018: R1 & R2 Niall Murray (Team Dolan) – Van Diemen RF99 R3 Matt Round-Garrido Medina Sport JL17
2019: R1 Michael Eastwell (KMR Sport) – Spectrum 011C R2 Ross Martin (Team Doloan) – Van Diemen RF99 R3 Ivor McCullough – Van Diemen RF00
2023: R1 Brandon McCaughan (Oldfield Motorsport) – Van Diemen JL13 R2 Jordan Kelly (Team Dolan) – Van Diemen RF06 R3 Lucas Romanek (Oldfield Motorsport) – Van Diemen JL13

14 Photo: Mattia Tremolada Britain’s main Formula Ford 1600 championship, United FFord, will continue to have a multi-nation…

[5011
204021,204022,1144,47853,16,43992,15
0":"post-669873","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-northern-ireland","8":"tag-kirkistown","9":"tag-mallory-park","10":"tag-northern-ireland","11":"tag-silverstone","12":"tag-uk","13":"tag-united-fford","14":"tag-united-kingdom
["GET
