Dundee Football Club are thrilled to announce the signing of exciting prospect Joseph Bevan on a two-and-a-half-year deal from Burnley after both clubs agreed terms. The transfer is subject to international clearance.<\/p>\n
The 21-year-old winger joins the Dee after spending the first half of this season in the Burnley academy, and is familiar with current Dee Joe Westley from his time there.<\/p>\n
Starting his career with Kilsyth Athletic and Camelon Juniors, the Cumbernauld native signed for Albion Rovers in January of season 2022\/23, where he picked up 42 appearances, scoring 14 times.\u00a0 He then joined Burnley after a successful trial in January 2024, and was loaned out to Carlisle United a year later in January 2025, picking up 14 appearances in the English League 2.<\/p>\n
Speaking after joining Dundee, Joe said, \u201cI\u2019m very excited to be here. I\u2019ve been looking to get back into the men\u2019s environment, and I know David Longwell, he told me all the good things about Dundee.\u00a0 It\u2019s a new opportunity and a fresh challenge for me up here.<\/p>\n
I played with Charlie Reilly, we had a very good partnership together at Albion Rovers, and I know Joe Westley very well, we played together for a year and a half at Burnley. He was like David, he was very positive in everything he told me about Dundee.\u201d<\/p>\n
Head Coach Steven Pressley said \u201cThere was a lot of interest in Joe, we had to move quickly to secure him. He\u2019s a player with real high potential, and we feel he has a big future ahead of him.\u00a0 We\u2019re very pleased to have him join the squad, and to work on his development.\u201d<\/p>\n
Joe will wear the number 27 for Dundee.<\/p>\n
