Gal Gadot was said to be fuming after a group of pro-Palestine protesters swarmed the set of her new movie The Runner and interrupted filming.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Israeli<\/a> actress, who has been vocal in her support of the war against Hamas<\/a>, was escorted off set as activists brandishing flags shouted ‘stop bombing Palestine<\/a>‘ through a megaphone.\u00a0<\/p>\n

One man was also seen banging a drum to cause maximum disruption to the filming that was taking place by a canal in Camden, north London<\/a>, on Thursday.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Police were called in to manage the situation and Gal was reportedly replaced by a body double.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Pictures show around a dozen police officers engaging with protesters on Camden Road. It is unclear if any arrests were made.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The demonstration is likely a blow for Gal who appeared in good spirits when she was first spotted filming The Runner with co-star Damien Lewis last week.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The actress, 39, who previously served in the Israeli Defence Forces, donned a tight blue running jacket and black leggings that showed off her incredible frame.<\/p>\n

The look was teamed with bright red trainers, a running bag, and arm pouch.<\/p>\n

Her character was seen on a run after dropping her child at school, where she bumped into Damien’s character.<\/p>\n

Damien, 54, meanwhile cut a suave figure on set as he sported a strong moustache and slicked back hair.<\/p>\n

He opted for a black structured coat layered over brown trousers and a matching jumper.<\/p>\n

The ensemble was finished with smart black shoes and a pair of black leather gloves.<\/p>\n

His character was seen looking suspicious as he walked down the street past the school.<\/p>\n

The Runner centres on a high-flying attorney (Gal) who has to race through London to try to save her abducted son.<\/p>\n

It is being produced by David Kosse via his new London-based production company Rockwood Pictures.<\/p>\n

Gal’s outing on Friday follows a string of controversies that have marred her latest\u00a0Disney film, Snow White,\u00a0including claims of a feud between her and Rachel Zegler.\u00a0<\/p>\n

While Gal is said to have got on well with Rachel Zegler during filming, it is thought their relationship froze when Rachel started sharing her pro-Palestine views.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Meanwhile the remake later hit another snag after Lebanon banned the film from its cinemas nationwide.<\/p>\n

The Middle East nation made the move last week because of star Gal, who plays the Evil Queen in the box office bomb.<\/p>\n

Gal an Israeli, is on Lebanon’s boycott list because of her past service in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and her vocal support for Israel in its war against Hamas.<\/p>\n

Lebanon has previously banned other Gal movies including Wonder Woman and Death On The Nile over the star’s nationality.<\/p>\n

MailOnline has contacted the Met Police for comment on the pro-Palestine protest.\u00a0<\/p>\n
