The stakes are clearly personal this time. Thor is not fighting to save the universe from a purple alien. He is fighting to protect his child from Doctor Doom (Robert Downey Jr.).<\/p>\n

Fans are already calling it \u201cThe Winter Soldier\u201d of Thor performances. The clip lacks a single joke. This is a deliberate choice to return directors Joe and Anthony Russo, signaling that the character\u2019s comedic transformation is undone.<\/p>\n
