\n Cuban President Miguel D\u00edaz-Canel <\/strong>slammed what he called a \u201ccriminal\u201d attack by the US on Venezuela in a post on X<\/a>. \u201cCuba denounces and urgently demands the reaction of the international community against the criminal attack by the US on Venezuela. Our zone of peace is being brutally assaulted,\u201d he said.\n <\/p>\n \n Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum, <\/strong>also on X<\/a>, quoted a passage from the UN Charter which said member states must refrain from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity of another state. She also shared a statement which said her government \u201cstrongly condemns and rejects\u201d the attack.\n <\/p>\n \n Colombian President Gustavo Petro<\/strong> said his country is monitoring the situation in neighboring Venezuela with deep concern. \u201cThe Colombian Government rejects any unilateral military action that could aggravate the situation or put the civilian population at risk,\u201d he wrote on X.<\/a>\n <\/p>\n \n Chile\u2019s outgoing President Gabriel Boric<\/strong> said, also on X,<\/a> that his government expresses \u201cconcern and condemnation\u201d of the US attack. \u201cThe Venezuelan crisis must be resolved through dialogue and the support of multilateralism, and not through violence or foreign interference\u201d\n <\/p>\n \n Meanwhile, Argentine President Javier Milei,<\/strong> an ally of US President Donald Trump, appeared to welcome the capture of Venezuela\u2019s leader with a terse message on X: \u201cFreedom advances! Long live freedom, damn it!\u201d\n <\/p>\n
