Kallas said she had spoken with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and the EU\u2019s ambassador in Caracas. <\/p>\n

Rubio told several U.S. lawmakers that Maduro and his wife had been \u201carrested by U.S. personnel\u00a0to stand trial on criminal charges<\/a>\u00a0in the United States.\u201d In a\u00a0post on X<\/a>, Bondi said \u201ctwo alleged international narco traffickers\u201d will face justice under an indictment in the Southern District of New York.<\/p>\n

When asked to react to the Venezuela operation, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy laughed cheekily. \u201cWell, if you can do this to dictators, the U.S. knows who can be next<\/a>,\u201d Zelenskyy told journalists in Kyiv on Saturday evening.<\/p>\n
