The Taff Bargoed and its tributaries near Nelson, <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.walesonline.co.uk\/all-about\/caerphilly\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" rel=\"follow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\">Caerphilly<\/a> have been affected after a slurry spill was identified in the water after it was discoloured.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Natural Resources Wales (NRW) were made aware of the pollution and it has been investigated and identified as a slurry spill by officers. Finding the source of the pollution, the NRW has stopped it from contiuing to pollute the water.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The organisation says that the operator responsible for the slurry spill has made efforts to contain the pollution.
