Meghan Markle has used her first-ever podcast interview to speak about where her relationship with Prince Harry is at now and finally address one of the longest-running rumours about her potential political ambitions.<\/p>\n
The Duchess of Sussex firmly dismissed speculation about entering politics during the conversation with friend Jamie Kern Lima.<\/p>\n
Meghan has previously engaged in advocacy, including 2021 outreach to US Congress members about paid parental leave and now she\u2019s been asked to address whether or not she has political aspirations.<\/p>\n

Oh, God. I mean, you could say never, say never. No, I\u2019m not interested in that. No.\u201d<\/p>\n Meghan\u2019s latest business venture is her own podcast Confessions of a Female Founder, which she has been promoting on her Instagram, posting \u201cSo grateful for the love and support! Keep listening to \u2018Confessions of a Female Founder\u2019 anywhere you get your podcasts.\u201d<\/p>\n Elsewhere in the interview, Meghan became emotional discussing her family. \u201cH (Harry), that man loves me so much and you know, look what we\u2019ve built, we\u2019ve built. We have built a beautiful life and we have two healthy beautiful children,\u201d she said tearfully.<\/p>\n She compared Prince Harry\u2019s protective nature to Super Mario Bros video game: \u201cI always think about it, when you get the end of Super Mario Bros, the final level and what\u2019s the goal in Super Mario,\u201d Meghan said.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s to slay the dragons and save the princess. And that\u2019s my husband \u2013 he\u2019s out there constantly doing whatever he can to make sure our family is safe and protected, and that we are uplifted \u2013 and still make time for date nights.\u201d<\/p>\n The couple\u2019s relationship faced immediate public scrutiny, Meghan noted: \u201cYou have to imagine, at the beginning it\u2019s all butterflies, but then we immediately went into the trenches together. Right out of the gate, like six months into dating.\u201d<\/p>\n She added they now enjoy a belated \u201choneymoon period\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cSo now seven years later, when you have a little bit of breathing space, you can just enjoy each other in a new way.
