A contestant on The Traitors<\/a> has been axed from the BBC<\/a> show after just two days in the game.<\/p>\n

Season four of the beloved gameshow kicked off on New Year’s Day and saw host Claudia Winkleman selecting her shady Traitors.<\/p>\n

She chose Stephen, 32, Hugo, 51, and Rachel, 42, as this year’s villains, as well as a Secret Traitor who is unknown to both the trio and the audience.<\/p>\n

This fourth Traitor wears a red cloak, which differs from the traditional green, and has the power to create a shortlist of Faithfuls to be murdered each night.<\/p>\n

That list is then sent to the main Traitors<\/a>, who have the final say. At the end of episode two, the trio were debating on murdering either Ben, Reece or Maz.<\/p>\n

Just minutes into Saturday’s instalment, it was revealed that they picked retiree Ben as their victim.<\/p>\n

Yesterday saw the first murder as the Traitors ousted nursery school<\/a> teacher, Netty. Later that day, the Faithfuls banished one of their own, Judy.<\/p>\n

Netty’s exit in particular left Ross under fire because it was revealed on the first day that the duo know each other in the real world. Their friendship had sparked doubts amongst the rest of the contestants, with some fearing that they may work together against their co-stars.<\/p>\n

The contestants suggested that Ross is a Traitor who booted Netty out to shield himself from suspicion. During Saturday’s episode, the Londoner was once again forced to fight to prove his innocence.<\/p>\n

It was revealed that Ben told his castmates James, Stephen, Fiona, Ellie and Jessie that if he gets murdered, they should blame Ross.<\/p>\n

So his exit has naturally cast doubt on Ross. But Jessie was quick to note that since Ross wasn’t in the room during this chat, he may be getting framed by a Traitor who was part of the conversation.<\/p>\n

Stephen acknowledged his mistake in his private interviews, saying: “This is my first big mistake in the game.”<\/p>\n

However, viewers at home have suggested that the Secret Traitor must have also been in the room and put forward Ben’s name to throw Ross under the bus.<\/p>\n

Taking to X, formerly Twitter<\/a>, one wrote: “Omg the secret traitor must have been in the room with Ben to put him up to be killed and that’s how his name ended up on the list and the secret traitor wanted it blamed on Ross?!#TheTraitors #TheTraitorsUK.”<\/p>\n

A second agreed: “The secret traitor must have also been in that room when Ben said that so they could shortlist him knowing Stephen would kill him off?! #TheTraitors.”<\/p>\n

Ben’s murder has definitely left a mark on the castle.<\/p>\n
