There\u2019s a lot we know about the present version of Kit Green<\/a> (Jacob Roberts<\/a>) in Coronation Street, but we definitely don\u2019t know a great deal about his past.<\/p>\n Kit is the biological son of Bernie (Jane Hazlegrove<\/a>) and was put up for adoption when he was younger. He now works as a police officer, and has no qualms about breaking the rules to get what he wants.<\/p>\n The person who kickstarts Kit\u2019s new storyline is Mick (Joe Layton), a neighbour who has caused nothing but trouble since he arrived.<\/a><\/p>\n Prior to their meeting, Mick is busy getting involved in Gary\u2019s (Mikey North<\/a>) new venture after buying the builder\u2019s yard. Maria (Samia Longchambon) tells Gary that it was a complete mistake to offer Mick a job and that he\u2019s not welcome.<\/p>\n \t\t Next week, Lisa (Vicky Myers) tells Kit that Mick is in the interview room after being arrested on suspicion of assault. Swain tells him that he needs to do the interview, but the thought of that troubles Kit deeply.<\/p>\n Kit enters the room and is clearly nervous, which amuses Mick.<\/p>\n The interview starts but Kit fails to question Mick in detail and tells him he\u2019s free to go, clearly not keen on them being in the same room together.
