Picture: DGS.<\/p>\n<p>One person has been <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/PoliceScotlandHighlandandIslands\/posts\/pfbid02FTzPyyhu69FaV6ABk1eN5HQeUfCRqVRJUHNuMhoGScz3zu7k17bxX7QJ5iws5AYZl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">airlifted to hospital<\/a><\/strong> following a crash on the A82 south of Fort Augustus.<\/p>\n<p>The busy trunk road was closed following a crash at the Bridge of Oich near Aberchader at around 2.30pm on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>A police spokesperson said: \u201cThe A82 is closed at Bridge of Oich following a crash that happened around 2.30pm on Sunday, 4 January.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEmergency services attended and one person has been airlifted to hospital in Inverness.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA diversion is in place along the A87 from Invergarry to Invermoriston. Road users are advised to avoid the area.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The road was still closed at the time of writing, with Traffic Scotland <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/trafficscotland\/status\/2007876016325226842\">last issuing an update at 6pm<\/a><\/strong> to say diversions remained in place.<\/p>\n<p>    Do you want to respond to this article?
