Speculation is swirling around the Iron Heads GC camp after fresh claims of behind-the-scenes turmoil on the LIV Golf League.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The latest twist was revealed by former PGA Tour pro and now on-course commentator Smylie Kaufman<\/a>, with the story quickly catching fire on social media thanks to popular golf account NUCLR Golf<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to Kaufman, there is \u201cdrama going on\u201d<\/strong> inside the Iron Heads GC locker room \u2014 and all eyes are on captain Kevin Na<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Na, 42, has understood to have quietly unfollowed both LIV Golf<\/a> and his own Iron Heads<\/a> team on Instagram, a move that has instantly raised eyebrows across the golf world and sparked questions about his future with the franchise.<\/p>\n

Fuel has been added to the fire by rumours of potential new signings.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Former Players Championship winner Si Woo Kim was reportedly approached about joining LIV Golf and linking up with the Iron Heads, but the South Korean star ultimately turned down the advances and committed his future to the PGA Tour through 2026.<\/p>\n

For now, Na remains captain of the Iron Heads GC.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Danny Lee, Jinichiro Kozuma and Yubin Jang all represented the team during the 2025 season, but Jang has since been relegated and will return to the Korean Tour in 2026.<\/p>\n

That leaves a vacancy on the roster \u2014 and plenty of unanswered questions. Who replaces Jang? And does Na\u2019s social media activity hint at something far more serious brewing behind the scenes?<\/p>\n

Na, who has five PGA Tour titles to his name, first joined LIV Golf at the very start in the summer of 2022.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The South Korean-born American finished a lowly 44th in the LIV Golf League standings in 2025.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The uncertainty comes at a time when LIV Golf appears to be losing momentum in the battle for elite talent.\u00a0<\/p>\n

While the league once shook the sport by luring big names away from the PGA Tour, that flow has slowed dramatically.<\/p>\n

One major reason is money, and its bankrollers, the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF), have confirmed in recent months they will no longer be providing up-front sums of money for new players.\u00a0<\/p>\n

LIV\u2019s arrival in the summer of 2022 forced the PGA Tour to react, with prize purses ballooning \u2014 particularly across its Signature Events, which now offer payouts that rival LIV Golf\u2019s limited-field events.<\/p>\n

So far, only Victor Perez (Cleeks GC) and Laurie Canter (Majesticks GC) have made the jump to LIV Golf from the PGA Tour and DP World Tour ahead of the 2026 season.<\/p>\n

The Iron Heads intrigue also comes hot on the heels of a major LIV bombshell.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Just two weeks ago, five-time major champion Brooks Koepka stunned the sport by walking away from the league<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Koepka, the captain of Smash GC, became the first major winner to quit LIV Golf, exiting one year before the end of his contract.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The American’s representatives confirmed the decision was made to prioritise family, despite having a reported $100 million deal still running.<\/p>\n

Speaking on The Overlap earlier this week, Rory McIlroy said he would welcome Koepka \u2014 and even the likes of Bryson DeChambeau \u2014 back to the PGA Tour, insisting they have \u201cpaid their consequence\u201d<\/a> for leaving.<\/p>\n

DeChambeau, meanwhile, remains locked in talks over a potential contract extension with LIV Golf.<\/p>\n

The 2026 LIV Golf League season is set to begin under the lights in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in the first week of February \u2014 but for Iron Heads GC, the spotlight is already firmly on what\u2019s happening off the course.<\/p>\n
