After years of negotiations and rumors, it seems there is now a date by which ex-Prince Andrew<\/a> will be out of the Royal Lodge. Not only is he reportedly set to be out this year, but there\u2019s a definitive chance he could end up homeless.<\/p>\n

According to the DailyMail\u2019s <\/a>royal editor, Rebecca English, Andrew <\/a>will be \u201cout\u201d of the home by Easter.<\/p>\n

\u201cStripping his brother of his birthright as well as his dukedom came as a huge surprise to some who doubted Charles had the stomach for it,\u201d English said to the outlet about King Charles III\u2019s actions. \u201cI am told the plan is that Andrew will be \u2018out\u2019 of Royal Lodge by Easter, when the Royal Family traditionally gather on the Windsor estate, helpfully avoiding another potentially tricky encounter.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, there\u2019s something else: as we said, he could end up homeless, but how? English said, \u201cWhether he has a home to move into is another question. The extraordinary prospect that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who remains eighth in line to the throne, could actually find himself homeless for a short period of time next spring.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now, this comes as a bit of a shock because many were under the impression that after the massive Royal Lodge, he\u2019d move into Charles\u2019 Sandringham estate. (It\u2019s privately owned and not held by the Crown Estate!) But between now and April, royal experts think anything could happen amid this unprecedented period.<\/p>\n

For those wondering how he was in the Royal Lodge for years, his mother, the late Queen Elizabeth II, gave him\u00a0a 75-year lease on the property<\/a>,\u00a0with the rent being one peppercorn, and it took literal years to get him out.<\/p>\n
