Meghan Markle could soon face a tough choice to reconsider her stance on going back to the UK amid new review of security arrangements for her and Prince Harry.<\/p>\n
The Duke of Sussex previously said it was not safe to bring his family to Britain after losing a court case over protection.<\/p>\n
However, royal author Duncan Larcombe said that if security is restored, Meghan may no longer have a clear reason to stay away. <\/p>\n
He suggested that the real reason Meghan does not want to return is not safety but concerns that she may not be welcomed in UK.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe security issue has essentially been used as an excuse for Meghan not to come to the UK in the last few years,\u201d he said, per The Mirror. <\/p>\n
\u201cBut many people think the real reason is to do with the public reaction that she\u2019d receive over here.”<\/p>\n
The expert continued, \u201cIf the protection is put back in place for Harry and Meghan when they\u2019re on UK soil, then there\u2019s really no excuse for her to stay away, so she has to be considering doing a U-turn \u2013 she has no choice but to think about it given the new review.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut, effectively, she\u2019ll come face to face with the British public and members of the family that she\u2019s been at pains to criticise. <\/p>\n
\u201cShe will want to support Harry how she can, and has also said that she doesn\u2019t like to be away from her children for long, so there are going to be some difficult decisions either way.<\/p>\n
