New Year’s Day 2026 will forever be special for a Coventry<\/a> couple – as they welcomed a new bundle of joy. The start of the New Year was made even more memorable for proud Katelyn and Ryan.<\/p>\n They welcomed the newest addition to their family – Maeve – at 3.28am. She was the first baby to be born at the University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire<\/a> today (January 1). What is known that NHS<\/a> staff at local hospitals worked round the clock over the New Year,<\/p>\n There is a UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) cold weather alert in place <\/a>until 12noon on January 5, and it is said that this could lead to a ‘significant’ impact on people’s health.
