{"id":675224,"date":"2026-01-05T10:43:12","date_gmt":"2026-01-05T10:43:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/675224\/"},"modified":"2026-01-05T10:43:12","modified_gmt":"2026-01-05T10:43:12","slug":"two-fire-engines-collide-in-islington-during-emergency-call-out","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/675224\/","title":{"rendered":"Two fire engines collide in Islington during emergency call out"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\"><b class=\"ssrcss-1xjjfut-BoldText e5tfeyi3\">Six firefighters have been injured after two fire engines they were travelling in collided in north London, the London Fire Brigade (LFB) has said.<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The incident happened at about 22:17 GMT on Saturday at the junction of Farringdon Road on Clerkenwell Road.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">LFB assistant commissioner Pat Goulbourne said the fire engines were both responding to an incident in Islington which has been resolved.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">He confirmed that six crew members were treated at the scene by the London Ambulance Service (LAS) and then taken to hospital for checks.
