A yellow weather warning remains in place across Northern Ireland this morning (Monday), with snow and icy conditions continuing to<\/a> disrupt travel \u2014 including air services.<\/p>\n At Belfast International Airport<\/a>, a number of flights have been affected due to poor weather<\/a>. Arrivals from Bristol, Glasgow, Liverpool and Manchester have been affected, while departures to Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester and London Luton are also not going ahead. Belfast Live has confirmed that there have been a total of eight EasyJet flight cancellations at the airport this morning.<\/p>\n One passenger who is at the airport today told Belfast Live<\/a> they were: “Stuck in Belfast with young children” after their flight was cancelled. The passenger said there was a number of passengers stranded and labelled the situation as “crazy”.<\/p>\n READ MORE: Cold weather payment season: Check if you’re eligible<\/a>READ MORE: Armed forces treated worse than terrorists, warns NI Veterans’ Commissioner<\/a><\/p>\n They added: “I was told at the check in desk that it was cancelled due to weather outside at the airport.”<\/p>\n Belfast Live has approached Belfast International Airport for an update on the situation there.<\/p>\n A spokesperson said: “The airport remains open and operational however there have been several cancellations and delays today. Anyone who is due to travel please contact your airline for latest flight information.\u201d<\/p>\n At Belfast City Airport, several arrivals and departures have also been cancelled. Both airports have advised passengers to check with the airline or the airport website for live updates.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, City of Derry Airport has reported delays to some departures after snow and ice caused issues on the runway.
