Legendary heavyweight duo George Foreman<\/a> and Mike Tyson<\/a> believe there is one fighter even greater than Muhammad Ali.<\/p>\n

Known more commonly by his moniker \u2018The Greatest\u2019, Ali is widely considered to be one of, if not the greatest fighter to have ever laced up a pair of boxing gloves.<\/p>\n

He became a world heavyweight champion on several occasions throughout the course of his storied professional career, producing legacy-defining wins over the likes of Sonny Liston, Joe Frazier and George Foreman.<\/p>\n

It appears that not everyone is quite as impressed with the credentials of Ali however, as \u2018Iron Mike\u2019 Tyson names Sugar Ray Robinson as the \u2018greatest fighter ever\u2019 in a resurfaced interview.<\/p>\n

\u201cSugar Ray Robinson was the greatest fighter that ever lived.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

This is an opinion that is shared with Ali\u2019s former rival George Foreman, who also once claimed that he believed Robinson was the best fighter to have ever graced the sport.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s no doubt about it. Sugar Ray Robinson was the best I ever saw.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Robinson\u2019s outstanding legacy speaks for itself<\/a> and is still widely discussed within the boxing community to this very day. The Georgia-native fought on no less than 201 occasions during his tenure which spanned between 1940 and 1965.<\/p>\n
