{"id":675511,"date":"2026-01-05T13:55:10","date_gmt":"2026-01-05T13:55:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/675511\/"},"modified":"2026-01-05T13:55:10","modified_gmt":"2026-01-05T13:55:10","slug":"germany-deports-tajik-national-over-suspected-attack-plot","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/675511\/","title":{"rendered":"Germany Deports Tajik National Over Suspected Attack Plot"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>A 21-year-old citizen of <a href=\"https:\/\/caspianpost.com\/tajikistan\/attacks-on-chinese-workers-spark-alarm-on-afghan-tajik-border\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Tajikistan<\/a> has been deported from <a href=\"https:\/\/caspianpost.com\/turkmenistan\/turkmen-leader-sends-birthday-greetings-to-steinmeier\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Germany<\/a> after being detained in December on suspicion of planning an <a href=\"https:\/\/caspianpost.com\/regions\/drone-strike-in-ukraine-s-odesa-leaves-six-injured\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">attack<\/a> in crowded public areas.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The man was arrested in Magdeburg and placed in custody amid concerns that he posed a threat to public safety, <a href=\"https:\/\/caspianpost.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">The Caspian Post<\/a> reports via <a href=\"https:\/\/asiaplustj.info\/en\/news\/tajikistan\/security\/20260105\/tajik-national-deported-from-germany-over-suspected-attack-plot\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Tajik media<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>German authorities said the suspected plot was linked to his radical religious views and a reported process of radicalization, including a growing interest in firearms.<\/p>\n<p>Officials noted that while studying at a vocational training school, the suspect was allegedly involved in repeated disputes with fellow students over religious issues. Mario Schwan, head of the Saxony-Anhalt state police, said investigators identified a \u201cconcrete threat.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The man entered Germany legally in June 2024 on an Au Pair visa, stating an interest in German language and culture. He later enrolled in a medical training program at a university clinic in Magdeburg.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the concerns, the Halle prosecutor\u2019s office declined to open a criminal case, citing a lack of concrete details regarding the time, location, or method of a potential attack. Germany\u2019s federal prosecutor also chose not to pursue charges.<\/p>\n<p>Following his detention, the Interior Ministry explored voluntary departure options.
