A Spider-Man 4<\/strong><\/a> rumor suggests a new MCU<\/a> villain will be getting a comic-accurate costume.<\/p>\n

Marvel Studios<\/a> and Sony Pictures<\/a>\u2019 Spider-Man 4, also known as Spider-Man: Brand New Day, arrives in United States theaters this July. Directed by Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings\u2019 Destin Daniel Cretton, the movie will see Tom Holland once again reprise his role as Peter Parker\/Spider-Man<\/a>.<\/p>\n

What is the new Spider-Man 4 rumor?<\/p>\n

There have been several rumors that Boomerang \u2014 a villain created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby who debuted in Marvel Comics in 1966\u2019s Tales to Astonish #81 \u2014 will be one of the villains that Peter has to face in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.<\/p>\n

While there\u2019s been no formal announcement about this matter and nobody has been publicly cast in the role as of yet, scooper Daniel Richtman<\/a> is saying that Boomerang will not only be in the movie, but he also has a \u201ccomic book suit\u201d that is \u201cso cool.\u201d<\/p>\n

Insider Cryptic HD Quality<\/a> also posted about the matter, saying, \u201cBoomerang supposedly has a very comic accurate suit for BND.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to Holland, the confirmed cast for Spider-Man: Brand New Day includes Zendaya as Michelle \u201cMJ\u201d Jones-Watson, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle\/Punisher, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner\/Hulk, Michael Mando as Mac Cargan\/Scorpion, and Marvin Jones III as Lonnie Lincoln. Stranger Things\u2019 Sadie Sink, The Bear\u2019s Liza Col\u00f3n-Zayas, and Severance\u2019s Trammel Tillman have also been cast in the movie in undisclosed roles; however, recent rumors suggest that Tillman\u2019s character will be in charge of the Department of Damage Control (DODC).<\/p>\n

Other rumors that are now going around are that Ahsoka\u00a0star\u00a0Eman Esfandi has been cast<\/a> as MJ\u2019s new boyfriend in the movie, while Billy Clements is reportedly playing<\/a> a villain named Ramrod. These have not been confirmed by Marvel<\/a> at this time.<\/p>\n
