It’s been an eventful evening for soap fans, with the worlds of Coronation Street<\/a> and Emmerdale<\/a> combining for the first (and possibly only) time.<\/p>\n

Kicking off with a multi-vehicle pile-up<\/a>, with residents from both soaps caught up in the collision, it became apparent that life would never be the same for those involved.<\/p>\n

But the stunts weren’t the only things causing explosions on that dark and stormy road in Hotten \u2013 arrests were made, characters died, and one much-loved couple got engaged.<\/p>\n

There’s nothing more romantic than a car crash, right?<\/p>\n

The instalment left us with more questions than answers, and there’s plenty to unpack in the weeks ahead.<\/p>\n

Here’s everything we need to know following that landmark episode…<\/p>\n

13 Corriedale questions we have following the explosive Coronation Street and Emmerdale crossover episode<\/strong>1. Who is the mystery woman?<\/strong>\"People<\/p>\n

There was a woman tied and bound in a van amid the devastation.\u00a0ITV<\/p>\n

Amid the devastation, a van joined the queue of traffic that was backed up along the road. Driven by a mystery, hooded man (more on that later), he glanced backwards at a tied and bound woman in the back.<\/p>\n

She pleaded for help and freedom, but he ignored her. Later, when he left the vehicle, she managed to escape and headed for the woods.<\/p>\n

Running into the night, she heard Kit Green’s (Jacob Roberts) voice and took her eyes off the path in front of her \u2013 causing her to face-plant a tree. He reassured her that he was a police officer, and noticed she had cable ties around her wrists.<\/p>\n

2. How on earth is Graham Foster alive?<\/strong>\"Andrew<\/p>\n

Andrew Scarborough as Graham Foster in Emmerdale.\u00a0ITV<\/p>\n

The biggest twist of the night concerned the return of Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough)<\/a>, who was Joe Tate’s (Ned Porteous) legal guardian.<\/p>\n

He’s also the ex-husband of Kim Tate (Claire King) and one-time boyfriend of Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry). Graham was killed by her ex-husband<\/a>, Pierce Harris (Jonathan Wrather), in 2020.<\/p>\n

However, in Corriedale, he was the driver of the van that contained the unknown woman, but what is his connection?<\/p>\n

We also saw him stand over Joe’s body at the crash site, and then visit him in hospital. Most importantly, how is he alive?<\/p>\n

3. Will Robron get their happily ever after in the wake of John Sugden’s death?<\/strong>\"Oliver<\/p>\n

The end of John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth)!\u00a0ITV<\/p>\n

Rejoice, Robron fans! It seems another marriage is on the cards. Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) was aiming a gun at twisted husband John (Oliver Farnworth), causing him to take his eyes off the road and collide with the Swain family.<\/p>\n

He then ran away from the scene, leaving Aaron to have a tender moment with ex-hubby Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley). They agreed that despite everything, they’re meant to be together and should walk down the aisle once again.<\/p>\n

Shortly after, Robert joined Kit’s search effort to track John down, unaware that Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) was hot on their heels.<\/p>\n

Is this Robron’s happy ending?\u00a0ITV<\/p>\n

John knocked Kit out with his gun, before Cain was accidentally shot in a scuffle. However, by the end of the night, John was dead…<\/p>\n

4. Will Victoria Sugden be caught?<\/strong>\"Isabel<\/p>\n

Vic Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) killed her own brother.\u00a0ITV<\/p>\n

John’s killer was revealed immediately, and it was none other than his sister Victoria (Isabel Hodgins).<\/p>\n

She stood with a stunned expression over his dead body, the magnitude of the situation clearly beginning to take its toll.<\/p>\n

With Hodgins expecting a child, could a prison sentence lead to Victoria’s departure?<\/p>\n

5. Where do Carla Connor and Lisa Swain stand following Becky’s arrest?<\/strong>\"Becky,<\/p>\n

Becky Swain (Amy Cudden) has been arrested.\u00a0ITV<\/p>\n

Becky Swain (Amy Cudden) has finally paid the price for her crimes<\/a>, with wife Lisa (Vicky Myers) conveniently having a set of handcuffs at the ready in the back of an ambulance to arrest her.<\/p>\n

It’s clear that Carla (Alison King) adores Lisa and her daughter Betsy (Sydney Martin), but could there be too much water under the bridge?<\/p>\n

Swarla fans, beware \u2013 there’s probably going to be a rocky road ahead.<\/p>\n

6. Will David Platt survive?<\/strong>\"Jacob<\/p>\n

David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) took a turn for the worse.\u00a0ITV<\/p>\n

In 2010, David (Jack P. Shepherd) was diagnosed with epilepsy. We haven’t really seen him suffer from the condition ever since, though at the conclusion of Corriedale, he dropped to the floor and began to fit.<\/p>\n

Pregnant wife Shona (Julia Goulding) watched on in horror, though she has her own problem.<\/p>\n

7. What will happen to Shona Platt’s baby?<\/strong>\"Charity,<\/p>\n

Shona Platt (Julia Goulding) went into labour.\u00a0ITV<\/p>\n

Shona is expecting a daughter, with the Platts already rocked by the news that the little one has a potentially cancerous tumour on her neck<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Following the minibus crash, Shona sat at the roadside and feared she couldn’t feel her baby moving. Fortunately, Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) was able to reassure her that the child was OK.<\/p>\n

However, when they arrived at the hospital, her waters broke and she began to feel contractions. Will the baby survive?<\/p>\n

8. Will Todd Grimshaw be able to escape Theo Silverton following Billy Mayhew’s tragic death?<\/strong>\"Theo<\/p>\n

Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) killed Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank).\u00a0ITV<\/p>\n

Theo (James Cartwright), amid his abuse of Todd<\/a> (Gareth Pierce), is now responsible for the death of Billy (Daniel Brocklebank).<\/p>\n

After discovering that Todd had divulged his abhorrent behaviour to Billy, Theo knew that he would have to silence the archdeacon \u2013 forever.<\/p>\n

He climbed into the burning minibus where Billy had managed to unclip his seatbelt, but rather than helping him out of the deadly situation, he clipped him back in and walked away.<\/p>\n

Brocklebank has left Corrie after 11 years.\u00a0ITV<\/p>\n

The bus then went up in flames.<\/p>\n

Will Todd be able to escape?<\/p>\n

9. How will Cain Dingle deal with his diagnosis?<\/strong>\"An<\/p>\n

Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) received some tragic news.\u00a0ITV<\/p>\n

The final scenes showed the residents of Weatherfield and Hotten receiving treatment for their various injuries, with an ominous out-of-vision doctor telling one character that they had found a cancerous mass.<\/p>\n

We then realised that Cain was the one receiving the diagnosis. This came just moments after he decided to book a very belated honeymoon with wife Moira (Natalie J Robb).<\/p>\n

10. Is Carl Webster about to get his comeuppance?<\/strong>\"Debbie,<\/p>\n

Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard) framed sister Debbie (Sue Devaney).\u00a0ITV<\/p>\n

Drunken Carl (Jonathan Howard) was planning to flee to Germany after stealing thousands from sister Debbie (Sue Devaney), but was ultimately caught up in the crash and was unable to leave.<\/p>\n

He climbed out of the car and dragged her lifeless body into the driver’s seat, but as he wandered off, he dropped to the ground.<\/p>\n

Brother Kevin (Michael Le Vell) was immediately suspicious, and later told him in hospital that he knew he was the driver, and he wasn’t going to be able to place the blame on Debbie’s young-onset dementia.<\/p>\n

11. Will Mackenzie Boyd spill Charity Dingle’s baby secret?<\/strong>\"Charity<\/p>\n

Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) was determined to tell the truth.\u00a0ITV<\/p>\n

Enraged Mack (Lawrence Robb) spiralled off the road to avoid crashing into the other vehicles, after learning the baby who wife Charity (Emma Atkins) is carrying is not her granddaughter Sarah’s (Katie Hill).<\/p>\n

However, he’s still under the impression that the child is his own \u2013 when Ross Barton (Michael Parr) is the real baby daddy.<\/p>\n

Charity looked nervous that her secret could be exposed at any moment, as she and Sarah sat around Mack’s bed in the hospital.<\/p>\n

Will he have a change of heart after the accident?<\/p>\n

12. Who killed Ray Walters?<\/strong>\"Ray<\/p>\n

Ray Walters (Joe Absolom) was been killed.\u00a0ITV<\/p>\n

In the earlier edition of Emmerdale, Ray’s (Joe Absolom) body was seen being dragged across the ground in a bag. We were handed five potential suspects<\/a>; Ross, Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry), Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy), Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) and April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan).<\/p>\n

However, in Corriedale, his corpse was seen once again, this time in the back of Jai Sharma’s (Chris Bisson) van.<\/p>\n

He’d previously mentioned doing a drop-off in Manchester, but has he been coerced into taking Ray with him? Or is he the one responsible?<\/p>\n

13. Will the worlds of Coronation Street and Emmerdale ever cross again?<\/strong>\"A<\/p>\n

Is this a one-off?\u00a0ITV<\/p>\n

It’s incredibly unlikely \u2013 and executive producer Iain Macleod has seemingly ruled it out \u2013 but given the words ‘Weatherfield’ and ‘Emmerdale’ have crossed the lips of our beloved characters multiple times in the last few weeks, it makes us wonder whether there could be any reference in the future.<\/p>\n

Imagine a devastating accident on the cobbles of Coronation Street, with Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) and Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) seeing it on the news and referencing the fact they once attended a murder mystery night nearby?<\/p>\n

There’s a multitude of options, but for now, I reckon we should be pleased with the fact that Corriedale came to fruition!<\/p>\n
