Eiran Cashin has signed for Blackburn<\/p>\n
Brighton have recalled Eiran Cashin from his loan at Birmingham City<\/a> and sent him to Blackburn Rovers.<\/p>\n Cashin<\/a> was a bit-part player for Blues in the first half of the season, making just three starts and a further eight appearances off the bench in the Championship.<\/p>\n Two errors on his full league debut against Sheffield Wednesday in September saw Cashin drop down the pecking order behind Christoph Klarer, Phil Neumann and Jack Robinson.<\/p>\n Injuries over Christmas<\/a> saw Cashin start two games at left-back against Derby County and Southampton before a further two outings off the bench versus Watford and Coventry City.<\/p>\n A cameo against Coventry, in which Cashin played as part of a back three, proved to be the 24-year-old\u2019s final outing in Royal Blue.<\/p>\n The defender, who was signed by Brighton from Derby for \u00a38million 12 months ago, will now link up with Blackburn .<\/p>\n Rovers play a back three under Valerien Ismael and have fielded rookie George Pratt on the left side of their defence of late.<\/p>\n Get the latest Blues headlines sent straight to your phone<\/p>\n BirminghamLive has its very own Birmingham City<\/a> WhatsApp community to deliver the latest headlines straight to your phone.
