The man\u2019s life is unraveling because of the grief that takes the form of an unhinged and unwanted houseguest \u2013 a crow \u2013 which taunts him from the shadows.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Director\u00a0<strong>Dylan Southern\u2019s<\/strong> melancholic dark fantasy feature debut is an adaptation of <strong>Max Porter<\/strong>\u2018s novella Grief Is the Thing With Feathers.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDylan Southern has crafted something truly unique\u2014an emotional gut punch wrapped in a dark, fantastical nightmare,\u201d said Tom Ortenberg, CEO of Briarcliff Entertainment. \u201cWith its bold visual storytelling and powerhouse performances,\u00a0The Thing With Feathers\u00a0is an unforgettable exploration of grief, madness, and transformation. We\u2019re thrilled to bring this vision to audiences.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Richard Boxall<\/strong> and <strong>Henry Boxall<\/strong> star alongside Cumberbatch. <strong>David Thewlis<\/strong> voices Crow.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s the presence and design of Crow that sets this grief metaphor feature apart.
