This means that<br \/>\n  one in four vehicles built in Germany comes from a BMW Group plant.<br \/>\n  According to the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA),<br \/>\n  a total of 4.15 million vehicles were manufactured in Germany during<br \/>\n  the same period.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur plants provide impressive proof of how competitive German<br \/>\n  industry is. Producing more than one million vehicles in 2025 is a<br \/>\n  strong testament to Germany\u2019s innovative strength. To achieve this, we<br \/>\n  are systematically leveraging innovation and digitalisation. Going<br \/>\n  forward, policymakers must ensure competitive framework conditions for<br \/>\n  Germany as an industrial location,\u201d explains Milan Nedeljkovi\u0107, member<br \/>\n  of the Board of Management of BMW AG responsible for Production.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The German automotive industry possesses unique expertise, extensive<br \/>\n  knowledge and a passionate car culture that few locations worldwide<br \/>\n  can match. The BMW Group vehicle plants in Dingolfing, Leipzig, Munich<br \/>\n  and Regensburg represent strong pillars of the company\u2019s international<br \/>\n  production network. The foundation for this is a clear strategic<br \/>\n  direction aligned with the BMW iFACTORY, with streamlined structures,<br \/>\n  efficient processes and maximum flexibility at all plants. The<br \/>\n  BMW\u00a0iFACTORY offers a vision for manufacturing across all locations in<br \/>\n  the global production network.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>At all German plants, vehicles with internal combustion engines,<br \/>\n  plug-in hybrids and fully-electric drive trains are produced on a<br \/>\n  single line. With this flexible structure, BMW Group production can<br \/>\n  respond in an agile manner to fluctuations in demand and changing<br \/>\n  market conditions. It is therefore an important pillar supporting the<br \/>\n  company\u2019s cross-functional resilience and a key competitive advantage<br \/>\n  in a dynamically evolving industry.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Vehicles from the German plants are primarily destined for the<br \/>\n  European market, in line with the principle of globally distributed<br \/>\n  value added.
