\n\tLONDON<\/a> \u2014 <\/strong>Anya Hindmarch<\/a> loves digging deep into British life, opening concept stores and creating designs around the candy, ice cream and corner shops of her youth.<\/p>\n

\n\tCome Saturday, she\u2019ll be teaming with the national pharmacy and beauty chain Boots<\/a>, opening a temporary shop with a retro 1970s vibe. It will sell leather accessories inspired by over-the-counter drugs, as well as a line of everyday items featuring her brand\u2019s signature animated eyes and squiggly mouths.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cA village should always have a Boots<\/a> at some stage, and it just felt right. It\u2019s part of the very fabric of the U.K., and the heritage is very, very strong,\u201d said the designer, who will unveil Anya Hindmarch<\/a> x Boots<\/a> at The Village Hall on London\u2019s Pont Street on Saturday.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe\u2019ve done a really fun interpretation. It\u2019s a bit of a 1970s Boots from my childhood,\u201d she added. The Village Hall is part of the designer\u2019s cluster of shops between Belgravia and Knightsbridge, and the shop will remain open until March 8.<\/p>\n

\n\tHindmarch said Boots, which was founded in Nottingham, England, in 1849, opened its archive so she could research the branding, ads and designs for the shop. The two worked together on the packaging for the toiletries.<\/p>\n

\t\t\t\t\tThe limited-edition Anya Hindmarch<\/a> x Boots essentials range.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe store design was inspired by a classic apothecary. The exterior features the Boots blue and white palette paired, arched wooden windows and vintage 1970s-style signage. Inside, there\u2019s retro tiling, staff dressed in crisp white coats and dispensary-inspired packaging.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tHindmarch said the offer is \u201creally fun. This is not me launching makeup or cosmetics. It\u2019s a range of everyday toiletries \u2014 cotton earbuds and cotton wool, tweezers, shampoo, hand and body lotion. They\u2019re things that will pep up your bathroom in January when we will all need a lift.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tEach piece is created in collaboration with Boots and available in limited numbers, at accessible prices, for the duration of the store. There are two limited-edition wash bags \u2014 First Aid and Meds \u2014 inspired by antique pieces from the Boots archive.<\/p>\n

\n\tShe has also done a collection of small leather accessories that riff on the branding of first aid and over-the-counter brands including Berocca, Advil, Band-Aid, Imperial Leather and Nurofen.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe collaboration also features the latest version of the Anya Hindmarch reusable Universal Bag in Boots\u2019 palette of blue and white.<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter the concept store shuts, the Anya Hindmarch x Boots essentials collection will be available to shop on\u00a0boots.com for a limited time.<\/p>\n

\n\tHindmarch launched The Village in 2021.
