Some new information regarding the villains in The Batman 2<\/a><\/strong> has come to light.<\/p>\n

Warner Bros. Pictures<\/a> and DC Studios<\/a>\u2019 The Batman 2, also known as The Batman Part II, will be released in United States theaters in 2027. A sequel to 2022\u2019s The Batman<\/a>, the movie will once again be directed by Matt Reeves<\/a>. Robert Pattinson<\/a> will reprise his role as Batman\/Bruce Wayne, while Scarlett Johansson<\/a> has also been cast in an undisclosed role.<\/p>\n

Earlier today, news broke<\/a> that Sebastian Stan<\/a>, known for playing Bucky Barnes\/Winter Soldier in the MCU, was in talks to join the cast of The Batman 2. No details regarding who Stan is being eyed to play were revealed in the article shared by Deadline<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to insider Jeff Sneider, however, Stan is seemingly circling the role of Harvey Dent<\/a>\/Two-Face<\/a>. Sneider wrote<\/a> after the story about Stan\u2019s casting broke, \u201cWas told last night that Reeves had found his Dent. Was gonna start asking this morning\u2026 but I was too slow!\u201d<\/p>\n

Yesterday, Sneider posted<\/a> a picture of Two-Face with no further context. He then retweeted that image with the Stan casting news. While there\u2019s been no official announcement from DC at this time, it appears that Harvey Dent is coming to Reeves\u2019 Batman Epic Crime Saga.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Sneider also said<\/a> that Barry Keoghan<\/a> is expected to return as the Joker<\/a> in Batman 2. Variety<\/a>\u2019s article about Stan\u2019s casting also mentions that Keoghan is \u201cexpected to appear once more\u201d as the Joker.<\/p>\n

Official plot details for The Batman 2 remain heavily under wraps at this time. With a script co-written by Reeves and Mattson Tomlin, The Batman 2 is currently dated for October 1, 2027. The Batman and the spin-off TV show The Penguin, meanwhile, are currently streaming on HBO Max.<\/p>\n
