But when the Sussexes decided to step down from their royal duties, the Queen ordered Harry\u2019s call to be directed to his father, now-<strong>King Charles<\/strong>, who, as per a royal author, eventually grew exhausted after the duke \u201cdemanded funds.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>King Charles claimed he wasn\u2019t a \u2018bank\u2019 when Prince Harry \u2018demanded funds,\u2019 per royal author<\/p>\n<p>A new book, \u201cThe Windsor Legacy\u201d by Robert Jobson, has shared some inside details of the royal family, especially about Prince Harry\u2019s relationship with the late Queen Elizabeth II and his father, now King Charles.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to the book, when Harry decided to wed former actress, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realitytea.com\/2026\/01\/06\/meghan-markle-prince-harry-britain-return-tear-apart-relationship-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Meghan Markle<\/a>, the queen welcomed Markle into the family with open arms, appreciating her \u201cdual heritage, beauty, and communication skills\u201d.
