A new book, \u201cThe Windsor Legacy\u201d by Robert Jobson, has shared some inside details of the royal family, especially about Prince Harry\u2019s relationship with the late Queen Elizabeth II and his father, now King Charles.\u00a0<\/p>\n

According to the book, when Harry decided to wed former actress, Meghan Markle<\/a>, the queen welcomed Markle into the family with open arms, appreciating her \u201cdual heritage, beauty, and communication skills\u201d. However, tension soon escalated between them, especially after Prince Harry and his wife decided to step down from their royal duties in 2020 to move to the US.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Post their decision, the late queen no longer remained their person of contact as she ordered the duke\u2019s calls be redirected to his father as she was \u201ctired of the drama.\u201d\u00a0But eventually, even the duke\u2019s father became increasingly frustrated with his younger son after he \u201cdemanded funds.\u201d\u00a0\u201cI\u2019m not a bank,\u201d the now-king allegedly expressed to his friends, according to the book, as quoted by Page Six<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Moreover, the book even claims that the Queen was surprised by Harry\u2019s behavior during negotiations for his and Markle\u2019s exit from the royal palace.\u00a0\u201cShe made it clear to those close to her that privately she felt let down by the Sussexes\u2019 departure,\u201d and she saw it \u201cas short-sighted and a missed opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n
