Northern Ireland international striker Callum Marshall has completed a move to German second-tier outfit VfL Bochum from West Ham United on loan for the rest of the 2025\/26 season.<\/p>\n

The frontman, who has 14 senior caps, will ply his trade in the 2. Bundesliga for the rest of the campaign as he looks to fire 10th-placed Bochum further up the League standings.<\/p>\n

The 21-year-old Glengormley native has made two Premier League appearances this term having also enjoyed loan spells with West Bromwich Albion and Huddersfield Town in the Championship and League One respectively.<\/p>\n

Now the Linfield Academy graduate will broaden his horizons at the Vonovia Ruhrstadion with Bochum, who were relegated from the Bundesliga at the end of the 2024\/25 season.<\/p>\n

Marshall was handed his Irish League debut as a 16-year-old by Blues manager David Healy in 2021 and then sealed a move to West Ham in January 2022.<\/p>\n

Having risen through the youth ranks at the east London club, winning the FA Youth Cup and the Under-18 Premier League South, as well as spending time out on loan, he was handed his top-flight bow when introduced as a substitute by Nuno Espirito Santo in a 2-0 defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in October 2025.<\/p>\n

Marshall made a further League appearance in a 2-0 loss to Brentford at the London Stadium later that month before heading out for the remainder of the campaign to Bochum, who are managed by former Manchester City forward Uwe Rosler.<\/p>\n

Bochum have played 17 League games, meaning they are exactly halfway through their 2.
