The brand&#8217;s website unsubtly states &#8220;we&#8217;re back in the UK&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingweekly.com\/products\/lukas-postlbergers-rose-backroad-ff-a-gravel-bike-outlier\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingweekly.com\/products\/lukas-postlbergers-rose-backroad-ff-a-gravel-bike-outlier\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Backroad FF gravel bike<\/a> is currently the only one listed on the company\u2019s British website. The bike \u2013 available in purple, grey and yellow \u2013 comes equipped with a <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingweekly.com\/reviews\/sram-apex-axs-groupset-review-is-this-low-end-groupset-a-new-high-for-electronic-shifting\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingweekly.com\/reviews\/sram-apex-axs-groupset-review-is-this-low-end-groupset-a-new-high-for-electronic-shifting\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SRAM XPLR AXS groupset <\/a>and Rose G30 wheels. At \u00a33,500, it forms the heart of the brand&#8217;s British re-launch, and is available alongside a small crop of branded kit.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"elk-seasonal\" data-url=\"\" href=\"\" target=\"_blank\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" data-hl-processed=\"none\"\/><\/p>\n<p id=\"cee1de2a-2c21-4ad2-90ed-0f1a100e03be-2\">Rose exited the British market in 2020, due to the absence of a Free Trade Agreement post-<a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingweekly.com\/news\/product-news\/covid-brexit-and-the-uk-bike-industry-what-next-for-2021-486743\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingweekly.com\/news\/product-news\/covid-brexit-and-the-uk-bike-industry-what-next-for-2021-486743\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Brexit<\/a>. The decision was further compounded by a difference in UK law, which requires bikes to be sold with a <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingweekly.com\/news\/latest-news\/front-brakes-right-uk-408381\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingweekly.com\/news\/latest-news\/front-brakes-right-uk-408381\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">right-handed brake lever.<\/a> In 2020, Rose was moving away from its previous made-to-order model towards serial production, which made it harder \u2013 and more costly \u2013 to modify bikes post-manufacture.<\/p>\n<p>You may like<\/p>\n<p>Since Rose was last seen rolling through British roads, the company has grown significantly across German and EU markets. In 2023, its revenue grew by 9% in the EU to \u20ac189 million, with its bike sales outpacing most competition in the same period that saw the industry turnover in Germany fall by \u20ac300 million to \u20ac7 billion.<\/p>\n<p>In 2025, the direct-to-consumer brand refinanced, allowing it to \u201cfurther strengthen its operations and market position,&#8221; according to KPMG Deutschland.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paywall\" aria-hidden=\"true\">The brand&#8217;s presence, firmly felt in the <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingweekly.com\/fitness\/we-entered-the-british-gravel-championships-and-it-was-brutally-fun\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingweekly.com\/fitness\/we-entered-the-british-gravel-championships-and-it-was-brutally-fun\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">continental gravel racing circuit<\/a>, will soon increase its standing in the world of road racing, too. In August, the German brand&#8217;s sponsorship of the <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingweekly.com\/racing\/could-this-team-set-up-by-youtubers-race-at-the-tour-de-france-in-2026-its-starting-to-look-likely\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingweekly.com\/racing\/could-this-team-set-up-by-youtubers-race-at-the-tour-de-france-in-2026-its-starting-to-look-likely\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Unibet Tietema Rockets <\/a>was first floated by Wielerflits.<\/p>\n<p>The Dutch-owned French ProTeam had ridden Cannondale for three years, and their move to Rose took the industry by surprise.
