<\/p>\nMike Tindall has spoken candidly about London\u2019s changing atmosphere after describing the city as \u201cgrumpy\u201d during a new interview in Australia.<\/p>\n
The comments came after his wife, Zara Tindall, opened up on her success with Team GB at the 2012 London Olympic Games.<\/p>\n
The royal won a silver medal in the team equestrian event at the London Games, which was presented by her mother, Princess Anne.<\/p>\n
Zara and her husband, Mike, have travelled to Australia for the Magic Millions Carnival, and the couple sat down to discuss their sporting backgrounds.<\/p>\n
Mike Tindall says London feels \u2018grumpy\u2019 as he reflects on changing atmosphere<\/p>\n

The mother-of-three spoke about her time with Team GB, saying: \u201cIt was all about your individual performance and collaborating that together as a team.<\/p>\n
\u201cI loved riding for Team GB, I loved being on that team and in a team atmosphere. It is so different to your day-in and day-out professional career.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s where you want to be, and where you want to aspire to be.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Tindalls then went on to speak about how they felt during the build-up to the 2012 Games. <\/p>\n
Zara continued: \u201cWe were all a little bit worried about the location, in Greenwich, building up to it.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut during, it was amazing because more people could come and see it, more people than ever watched Eventing, Dressage and Show-Jumping than ever would have because it was so accessible.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was in such a great location, and the noise was unbelievable for an equestrian event.\u201d <\/p>\n

Mike added: \u201cThe atmosphere of 2012 was incredible. You think about London now, it\u2019s grumpy, but during the 2012 Olympics, everyone was great, the volunteers were amazing.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe backdrop of the dressage was amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n
Zara concluded by saying: \u201cHaving that many people in one place was incredible. I always loved going into the dining hall in the Olympic village and all those people from everywhere globally, there for one reason.\u201d <\/p>\n
The Olympic silver medalist was also asked by Jacob Bethell during his Ashes Test Match special on BBC Radio 5 Live: \u201cDo you still saddle up?\u201d to which Zara replied: \u201cA little bit.\u201d<\/p>\n
Following her silver medal triumph at the 2012 London Olympics, she was named the inaugural Magic Millions Racing Women Ambassador.<\/p>\n
