I\u2019m pretty sure that, by now, most of us have cottoned on to the fact that shopping second-hand<\/strong> is just as stylish and waaay more sustainable than buying something brand new. But three pre-loved pioneers that grasped the concept a whole lot sooner than most are TRAID, Beyond Retro, and Charity Super\/Mkt<\/strong>. And now that very same trailblazing trio are teaming up to hold an almighty eco-friendly event in London<\/a> next month.<\/p>\n

On June 14<\/strong>, the classic jumble sale is getting a trendy makeover. SUPER JUMBLE<\/strong> will be a reimagining of the jumble sales of days gone by, taking place in the much-loved Mercato Metropolitano<\/strong> in Elephant and Castle<\/a> for just one day only. And I guess the question is: are you ready to jumble?<\/p>\n

How will SUPER JUMBLE work? <\/p>\n

Filled to the brim with twinkling vintage gems, SUPER JUMBLE will modernise and gamify the concept of a jumble sale<\/strong>. With piles of preloved pieces to rummage through, the event is set to essentially be the Supermarket Sweep of jumble sales. The prices will be low, the vibes will be high, and the atmosphere will resemble that of a festival<\/a> more than a traditional jumble sale. What more could you possibly want?<\/p>\n

1000 lucky Londoners<\/strong> will get the chance to attend and get their hands on some of the vintage items. And the very best part? The prices will drop drastically throughout the day. Kicking off at 9am, the first \u2018rumble in the jumble\u2019<\/strong> will see all items priced at \u00a37 for 45 minutes. For the second wave of shopping at 10.30am, the prices will drop to \u00a34.50, and then the final rumble will happen at 12pm \u2013 and every single item will be just \u00a32. All sales will be made through a digital self-checkout system<\/strong>, making the experience as speedy and seamless as possible.<\/p>\n

Visitors can expect klaxons, DJs, street food and whole lot of joyful chaos<\/strong>. The event comes as a direct response to the growing volume of unsold secondhand clothing and the rising demand for immersive<\/a> and interactive experiences. SUPER JUMBLE<\/strong> will give Londoners the chance to access sensational second-hand style in a social, sustainable and simply joyous setting.<\/p>\n
