Staging details have been revealed for the performance of the Ukrainian entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, \u201cBird of Pray\u201d.<\/p>\n

Ziferblat, Ukraine\u2019s representatives for Eurovision 2025, have announced that Maria Korostelova will be the staging director for their performance in Basel. Korostelova has previously staged acts at the Ukrainian national selection, Vidbir, as well as worked for various Ukrainian TV shows and Ukrainian artists such as Kazka, Krut\u044c, The Erised, and Fo Sho.<\/p>\n

It has also been announced that Ivan Frolov has designed the outifts for Ziferblat\u2019s performance on the Eurovision stage. Frolov has designed the outfits for previous Ukrainian Eurovision representatives such as TVORCHI, Jamala and Tina Karol.<\/p>\n

The staging and travel costs for Ziferblat are expected to be between 105,000\u2014115,000 Euros. No further details regarding Ziferblat\u2019s staging have been announced. It has previously been revealed that the staging changes for Eurovision are \u201cradical\u201d\u00a0<\/a> compared to the performance at Vidbir 2025.<\/p>\n

Ziferblat won the right to represent Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 after winning Vidbir 2025. They are the first trio to represent Ukraine at the contest. The group will perform 5th in the first semi-final on May 13 with their entry \u201cBird of Pray\u201d.<\/p>\n

Ukraine first participated in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2003, when Oleksandr Ponomariov performed \u201cHasta la vista\u201d. The following year Ruslana brought the country their first win with the song \u201cWild Dances\u201d. It was a feat that would be replicated in 2016 by Jamala with her song \u201c1944\u201d; her emotionally charged song scored a record 534 points to take victory in Stockholm. In 2017 O.Torvald represented the country on home soil with the song \u201cTime\u201d. The group finished in 24th place, Ukraine\u2019s worst result at the contest to date. Kalush Orchestra gave Ukraine their third victory in 2022 with \u201cStefania\u201d. Ukraine is one of two remaining countries with a 100% semi-final qualification record. <\/p>\n
