{"id":681461,"date":"2026-01-08T04:46:13","date_gmt":"2026-01-08T04:46:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/681461\/"},"modified":"2026-01-08T04:46:13","modified_gmt":"2026-01-08T04:46:13","slug":"interactive-balloon-glow-gives-lift-to-bristol-light-festival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/681461\/","title":{"rendered":"Interactive balloon glow gives lift to Bristol Light Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\t<img width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/balloon-scaled-1.jpg\" class=\"attachment-featured-image size-featured-image wp-post-image\" alt=\"World-renowned balloon-maker Cameron Balloons is to bring an interactive night glow to this year's Bristol Light Festival.\" decoding=\"async\" fetchpriority=\"high\"  \/>    <\/p>\n<ul class=\"post-meta\">\n<li>Swindon &amp; Wiltshire Culture<\/li>\n<li>Wednesday January 7 2026<\/li>\n<li\/>\n      <\/ul>\n<p>World-renowned balloon-maker Cameron Balloons is to bring an interactive night glow to this year\u2019s Bristol Light Festival.<\/p>\n<p>Their brand-new installation, The Lite Series, will bring the city\u2019s ballooning heritage to life in a vivid, interactive artwork that celebrates Bristol\u2019s craft and creativity.<\/p>\n<p>Situated on College Green, the world premiere installation will transform a cluster of illuminated hot air balloons into a responsive landscape of light, sound and play.<\/p>\n<p>Visitors will be invited to fire each balloon by pulling a simple cord, triggering a burst of colour and a resonant whoosh inspired by a real burner.<\/p>\n<p>As more people take part, the balloons glow brighter, sound bigger and build a shared spectacle which, say organisers, \u201ccelebrates the collective joy at the heart of the festival.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cameron Balloons has been central to Bristol\u2019s identity for over fifty years, creating more than 9,500 balloons that have flown across the world.<\/p>\n<p>Debuting at Bristol Light Festival 2026, The Lite Series marks the first public unveiling of this new collaboration between Cameron Balloons and the festival\u2019s creative director Katherine Jewkes, reimagining ballooning as an accessible, immersive experience for everyone.<\/p>\n<p>Jess Siggers, marketing manager at Cameron Balloons, said: \u201cBristol\u2019s skyline has been shaped by our balloons for generations, so we\u2019re thrilled to bring that heritage back down to earth in an entirely new way for Bristol Light Festival.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Lite Series invites everyone to feel the magic of ballooning up close.
