After the festive rush, January is often a big month for restaurant and bar deals. As people reign it in after Christmas<\/a>, many venues put on a range of offers and deals to lure people back in<\/a> for a start-of-the-year treat.<\/p>\n Throughout the month, there’s some great offers in place from some of the best venues, with some even offering 50% off their bill on select days. One of those enticing coffee lovers in this January is the UK’s leading dessert chain.<\/p>\n Creams Cafe will be offering \u00a31 coffee every week day until the end of the month to encourage a simple treat without breaking the bank post Christmas. The offer applies to any coffee for the whole of January.<\/p>\n It is also launching a new range of indulgent but affordable Soft Swirl Sundaes at just \u00a33.75. The new Soft Swirl Sundaes range features creations like Raspberry Rippletto, Honey Blueberry Crunch, Lemon & Strawberry Eton Mess, Black Forest, and Strawberry Choc.<\/p>\n The post-Christmas period is also commonly linked with low mood, and national campaigns around Blue Monday (19 January) encourage people to check in on friends and families. On average, 1 in 4 cups is bought out-of-home in coffee shops, restaurants, and bars, costing \u00a323.75 million.<\/p>\n As many will have noticed, the cost of a cup of coffee is also on the up. The average high-street coffee price is \u00a33.35. According to Silver Oak Coffee, speciality coffee roasters, One of the main reasons for coffee getting more expensive is the dramatic rise in global coffee bean prices.<\/p>\n Arabica beans saw prices soar by over 80% in 2024, reaching $3.44 (\u00a32.70) per pound, the highest since 1977.
