Katie Robinson has signed for Bristol City Women from Barclays WSL 1 side Aston Villa.<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old has put pen to paper on a two-and-a-half-year deal, keeping her at Ashton Gate until the summer of 2028.<\/p>\n

Robinson began her career at City, rising through the academy system before making her debut in 2018. She now returns to the club as it continues to embark on a new era under the ownership of Mercury 13.<\/p>\n

The forward signed her first professional contract with Brighton & Hove Albion in July 2020.<\/p>\n

Despite a knee injury in her first season, Robinson became a regular member of Hope Powell\u2019s Brighton side by the 2021\/22 season.<\/p>\n

The youngster impressed and signed fresh terms before joining Charlton Athletic for the second half of the 2021\/22 season to gain vital match minutes before returning to the Sussex side to win the Young Player of the Season award in 2022\/23.<\/p>\n

Robinson scored 10 goals in 68 appearances for the Seagulls before joining Aston Villa in July 2024.<\/p>\n

The now City player made 21 appearances for the Villans before joining Everton on loan in July 2025.<\/p>\n

City\u2019s new arrival joins having most recently made 12 appearances for the Blues in Barclays WSL 1.<\/p>\n

Born in Cornwall, Robinson has been capped at youth level for England and earned her first senior Lionesses call-up in November 2022, making her debut in a friendly against Norway later that month.<\/p>\n

Present in every squad thereafter, Robinson helped the Lionesses win the Arnold Clark Cup and the inaugural Women\u2019s Finalissima in early 2023.<\/p>\n

Later that year, Sarina Wiegman named the then-20-year-old in her 23-woman squad for the 2023 FIFA Women\u2019s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand \u2013 making her the youngest member of the squad as they finished runners up.<\/p>\n

On signing for City, she said: \u201cIt\u2019s nice to be back, it\u2019s the club that I started my career at so it\u2019s lovely to be back here again.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve had some good discussions with Charlotte and Mercury13. Our visions align and I couldn\u2019t turn down the opportunity to be a part of it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Head Coach Charlotte Healy added: \u201cKatie is a fantastic player. She\u2019s young, she\u2019s quick and she\u2019s so exciting to watch, I know the fans will be delighted to have her back at Bristol City.<\/p>\n

\u201cOver the past couple of seasons Katie has gained some fantastic experiences both domestically and internationally playing in the WSL and being part of the England Seniors World Cup squad.<\/p>\n

She\u2019s grown as a player and knows what it takes to play at that level.
