\n The Gabriel Montpeid stadium can be one of the most daunting venues in Europe but Franco Smith<\/a>\u2019s men will be full of confidence on the back of five consecutive wins.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n

\n That run includes two excellent wins in the Champions Cup against Sale and Toulouse with Glasgow four points clear in Pool 1. The Warriors showed incredible resolve to produce two comeback wins with the triumph over French giants Toulouse arguably their greatest ever result at Scotsoun.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n

\n Glasgow rested the majority of their key players against Zebre<\/a> last weekend with their next two European games in mind as they aim to secure a home tie in the last 16.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n

\n The biggest selection decision for Smith is whether to hand Huw Jones<\/a> his first game of the season. The Scotland<\/a> international hasn\u2019t featured since playing an influential role in the British & Irish Lions<\/a>\u2019 series win over Australia.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n

\n Jones had surgery on a troublesome Achilles injury but he\u2019s been training for over a week and Nigel Carolan confirmed that he\u2019s available for selection.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n

\n With Stafford McDowall<\/a> has played all eighty minutes in Glasgow\u2019s last six games since the Autumn internationals and the Warriors stalwart could do with a rest.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n

\n The Glasgow head coach could reunite Jones with his centre partner Sione Tuipulou and while Ollie Smith<\/a> is another option at outside centre, he\u2019s also played a lot of minutes recently.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n Kyle Rowe<\/a> is also back in contention, while the South African will need to decide how to rest some players that’ve played regularly during a hectic schedule – like Jamie Dobie<\/a> and Adam Hastings<\/a>.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n

\n Smith will name his team around midday and guessing his selection is a dangerous task given his frequency for throwing in a curve ball. Clermont realistically have no hope of qualifying so might rest players, which could impact Glasgow’s selection. Below is our predicted team for the Zebre clash.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
