I would say it’s more oriented to older people.”

The streets of Alloa appear to look pretty much the same as most towns across Scotland and the rest of the UK.

It has its fair share of pubs, as well as charity shops, vape shops, and local retailers.

Another resident said: “It’s obviously someone who doesn’t live here or care about people [who said it’s boring], because one great thing about Alloa, and I’ve lived here since 1976, is it’s friendly.”

Inside eerie, rat-infested homes dubbed UK’s ‘most depressing estate’ after being ravaged by arson yobs as young as TEN

A third added: “I disagree, my wife and I pop over here once every couple of months and we don’t find it boring.

“There’s a Wetherspoons and there’s loads of cafes.”

A fourth weighed in: “There’s nothing much here for the young ones, but it’s not a bad little place and it’s alright for the community.”

A fifth added: “We’ve got a tower, and more supermarkets than some of the big towns and within walking distance.

The Telegraph – Britain’s most boring towns (and reasons to love them)

1.
