They shared pictures of the proposed redevelopment last year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Leeds have said fans can look forward to &#8216;improved seating comfort and sightness,&#8217; &#8216;enhanced concourses&#8217; and &#8216;the preservation of Elland Road&#8217;s renowned atmosphere and acoustics.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Chairman Paraag Marathe said: &#8216;We are delighted to have secured planning permission for the expansion of Elland Road Stadium. This is a historic day for Leeds United Football Club.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">&#8216;As custodians of this great club, we are committed to its long-term success, and today\u2019s decision supports our ambition to establish Leeds in the <a style=\"font-weight: bold;\" target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/sport\/premierleague\/index.html\" id=\"mol-b22b3390-ecca-11f0-a2de-eb7b84d9092c\" rel=\"noopener\">Premier League<\/a> and continue progressing over the years to come.
