color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/insidefutbol.com\/celtic\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Celtic<\/a> linked striker Kyogo Furuhashi to battle through, after a poor first half of the season, indicating towards a St Andrew\u2019s stay.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Blues won 3-2 against <a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/insidefutbol.com\/championship\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Championship<\/a> leaders Coventry City on Sunday, ending their seven match winless run.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Davies\u2019 side were widely expected to challenge for promotion following another summer of investment, but patchy form and poor results on the road have let them down so far.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Summer arrival Kyogo, who is yet to score in the Championship, has been struggling for form amid Blues\u2019 recent goalscoring issues.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He joined Birmingham from French outfit Rennes, in a deal which was considered a major coup for the newly promoted club.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Birmingham_Chris_Davies5_620_ofg.webp.webp\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>But things have not gone as expected for Kyogo <a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/insidefutbol.com\/2025\/10\/17\/its-coming-chris-davies-backs-birmingham-city-star\/696625\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">and despite manager Davies\u2019 backing in October<\/a>, the Japanese international has failed to register any positive impact.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The striker has been strongly linked with a loan return to his former club Celtic, who are in the market for attacking reinforcements.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<tr>\nCompetition<br \/>\nGoals<br \/>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"border: 2px solid #ddd;
